Safari
  • Does anyone else have trouble getting hunt and jump to load on safari on their Mac or is it just mine? Opera is working but the web page won't even pull up now in safari.

  • You may have a hung browser session. I don't know how to clear that on Macs though. (Maybe another Mac user will jump in here and help?)

The way to find out is to use a different web browser to load it. If it works on the other browser, it's just hung up in Safari.

  • Yeah its working on Opera so I guess thats it but it has been having trouble being very laggy on safari for awhile now so I wasn't sure.
  • Finally got it working by just logging out of safari for a few hours...I had my password to this account auto saved so I forgot it and couldn't get in on the other browser.
  • I also am on Safari, generally I find things run smoothly, unless I am breeding to an outside mare/stallion or buying something, then the lag time can be up to 3 or 4 minutes per horse - loading the breeding, then waiting for the foal, I have found that when buying a horse it will appear in my barn before the lag time has caught up on the 'active' buying page. I have never found a solution to this, and have accepted that this is how Safari functions for me on Hajinc. :) I am on a MacBook Air.

  • I am on Safari as well (MacBook Pro), but don't have lag time when breeding or buying. However, I often get a hung session while removing a ton of mares from the pasture.

To clear your cookies on Safari, close all HAJ tabs then go to Safari>Preferences (Command+comma works too). On the Privacy tab, click "Details..."

In the drop-down box, search huntandjump, click on the site's name, and then click "Remove" to clear the hung session.

EDIT: There seems to be a problem with getting these images to display, since the opening < won't read properly. For now, I guess click the link or ignore them if the instructions are clear enough on their own -- they're just a display of what you should be seeing when you clear cookies. It doesn't seem to be doing it on other posts though, or even other tags within this post - just <img> in this post. @Ammit - is this something you'd like me to report as a bug?
