    The Categories!
    1. Prize: 350k Longest color name. This will be judged by number of letters in color name not including spaces.

    2. Prize: 350k Most dominate genes (I really hope that this is self explanatory)

    3. Prize: 2 GMTs Least genes (recessive genes counted)

    4. Prize: 750k Highest PT that carries nexus

    5. Prize: 1% Boost token. Lowest PT that carries nexus.

    And the GRAND PRIZE!
    1,000,000 HBs Most Grand foals from http://www.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=3705730




    Do not post here for straws. Posts for Straws will be made in March. Any requests here for straws will be ignored.
    This contest will be for Grand-offspring of http://www.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=3705730 only. To be eligible they must descend from one or two Share the Love (3705730) foal bred in April or March. There will be a 100k runner up for each category. In the event of a tie the winnings will be divided. Equines will only be eligible for one category each. Entries will begin in September and prizes will be sent out in October. Tie-breakers will be posted for each category.

    So here are some questions that I have gotten.

    Q: Can we only use his straws to be able to do this?
    A: Yes, even basic upgrades can use straws now.

    Q: Is it only for even generations too?
    A: No, do what you must to win.

    Q: We can get crazy and use full lined horses?
    A: Yes

    Q: What about his foals do you want us to spay them? Or geld?
    A: They are your horses. Do what ever you want.

    So any lined horses can be used to be entered? or do all of these horses have to go back to your stud you posted?

    1. In year 59 (March/April) Get straws to Share the Love
    2. With straws, breed any mares year 59
    3. Breed the stallys from this cross in years 61&62 and the mares from this cross year 62 (these are the first seasons that they will be breedable
    4. At no cost, enter the foals that result from #3 in September for prizes in October.

    Started using my straws :) I'm really excited to see how this goes.. although I think I'm interpreting the Grand prize the wrong way... errr.. does "most" mean whoever has the highest number of grand-foals?

    Here is how I was planning on judging this. (This may be subject to change)

    1. in a post that I will make people will tell me how many grand foals they have.
    2. I will go double check the numbers.

    Here is how I plan on checking the numbers. From Lovie's page I will pull up non altered foals OWNED (you do not need to have bred the middle generation). For each non altered horse I will then pull up the foals page and count the ones that are bred and owned by you.

    So Lovie is generation X. The middle generation is Y, and the one judged is Z. You need to own Y and to have bred and own Z.

    OK, I feel like I should ask about these:

    Does #2 mean that the horse will have, e.g. EE AA CcrCcr..., which would win over Ee Aa CCcr or that the second would win over ee Aa CcrCcrAre we counting all caps lock genes that can be found in the string or the number of allele pars of which at least one is dominant?

    And does #3 in reverse mean that we're hunting for a horse with ee aa CC dd etc?

    The winners of these categories do not need to carry nexus, right? :)

    I will count capital letters for number two with the exception of satin. (sasa would get counted as two, Flaxen I will count FF for #2 and ff for #3 and yes I realize this is the opposite of what I am doing for satin) Also if DP, GP, KP, and nexus are visible/they are in the respective breeders club they will be counted for both #2&3.

    So I am working on pairing these straws with my ladies. Two questions, can genes by GMT'd? And can intacts be boosted?
    I am having a blast planning the pairs, (cause this is the only time I actually plan my breedings, lol)!

    I've got another question: I've bred a few girls that potententially could give me a 'lowest PT' candidate. However, they didn't inherited their daddy's nexus themself. If I breed them with a nexus stud of myself (not a descendant from Sharing the Love), would that resulting foal be egible for lowest PT (since they didn't get the nexus from Sharing the Love but from an 'outside' nexus line)?

    The Nexus does not have to come from Lovie. They just need to descend from Lovie. Also I can get you more straws :D

    For the listed categories, do they only apply to the grand foals or are any direct foals eligible as well?
