Culling advice
-
I'm considering going through my barns and pastures again. I've already culled on what I wanted in my lines, color wise.
Now, I need to check quality. Keep in mind that all my lines generally start with C foundation stallions. What would be an acceptable PT progression for each generation? A .3 to .5 increase per generation for mares?
Stallions, as long as they paper superior to their sire and test superior, I don't really pay attention to PT. I do require my 3rd gen boys to paper A and my 6th gen boys to paper Star.
