Soo, I'm trying to figure out the whole pasture breeding thing and I was wondering what would happen if you put more than one stallion in the pasture with multiple mares. When it comes time to breed is it just random as to which stallion breeds which mare? Or do the just breed half and half roughly? Is it possible to pick which mare breeds to which stallion?

Also, I know that the mares will produce better foals the longer they are in the pasture, but does the same apply to the stallion? Or do they not even really have anything to do with that?

Any help is greatly appreciated! I'm still new and trying to figure everything out.

Hi Little Fish!

It's random which stallion in a pasture gets bred to which mares in that pasture. I believe the game tries to do it roughly equally, but there aren't any guarantees there. That is after all the nature of random.

Only mares get the breeding bonus, so you can drop stallions in when you're ready to breed them and take them right back out again without effect.
