Who else is stocking up on show sheen and lint rollers? Its getting warmer here in the rainy state of Virginia and the horses are shedding like there's no tomorrow! I've been currying like crazy for a week! Almost warm enough for first of the year baths! To celebrate Summer, I bought lime green zebra everything (something I've been wanting to do for a while) for a very spoiled saddlebred. My boy is ready to restart some work and regain all that muscle tone (his rider too lol). What are you guys doing in prep for Summer?

I'm working on getting a job, but if I end up in one of two cities with a nearby barn, I can at least do some riding lessons again. Nothing competitive (because I'm out of shape and out of practice), just a way to get back to the barn on a constant schedule :)

I am totally ready!! Tons of beginner dressage and hunter/jumper shows for me and my handsome boy! I just gave him a body clip about 3 weeks ago, so hes not super furry!

We just got 6 inches of snow dumped on us this past week here in WI. Was so nice out before that, riding outside and all. Now we're practically underwater/mud.

We're back up to almost 50 today though, so must of that icky snow is gone :D First show is next month, inside, thankfully, already working on my tests and have a big ol' list of things I need to get/do before April 23! Can't wait to get back to schooling outside in a tanktop and not have to worry about long underwear and if my socks are thick enough!

Everything sounds awesome guys! I have a friend from WI and she always talks about how much it snowed there! I wish everyone luck with their shows! My barn has been showing our one and only Friesian mare, Francis, with great success! I'll get a picture up soon!

The nice weather has finally reached Norway as well, and I'm gonna start enjoying it as soon as I've finished my exams! My horse enjoys the sunny weather, though he has got some days off due to my preparation :) We are going to an eventing next week, hopefully to get our qualification to the Norwegian championships! :D
