Generations does it take for a horse to be considered "fully lined"?

Depends on the person. ;)
Most are happy when the visible part of the pedigree is filled with names. -
I am breeding even generations up to 6 currently, but once my 6th generations start going star and gold, I'll probably stop there and consider them fully lined at 7+.
