My HH today is Homozygous Sooty. This is what popped up when I created one.
http://www.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=3987331
He's heterozygous Gray and has extensive White Factor, but this seems excessive graying for a 3 year old, especially one with homozygous sooty.
I tried both refeshing and rerolling without any difference in his appearance showing up.
A filly from the same HH is a truly dark bay.
I'm wondering if this is one of those weird things Ammit has warned us of, or if he's just a very rapidly graying horse. I'm not complaining, mind you, just wondering if I need to mark him for refreshing/rerolling a bit down the road. -
All grays are doing that right now. :D

I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

Thanks, Ammit. I was pretty sure he fell under that warning, but when refreshing and rerolling didn't make any difference, I decided to ask. I'd forgotten that Gray, particularly, was causing problems.Thanked by 1Ammit

I think gray will be very interesting in game once Ammit's done with her work. I know grey horses are darker to start off with then get lighter. Of course, not all grey horses gray at the same rate. So I think it'll be fun to see all the variances.Thanked by 1Ammit

That looks more like what his gene test would predict! Thank you very much, Ammit. Now I'll have to change his name. :D

I bred this filly earlier who surprised me. Looks slightly liver but no DP in her family (all 4 gens are home bred in house)

When I first created him, he was pure white, which is why I started the post. Ammit has fixed him, and, I think based on the Facebook discussion of your foal, has made gray's start out darker than normal, as they do in real life. That's probably why he now looks like he may have DP.
