Associated accounts are accounts for players that are connected to you in some way. Logging in at a public place like an airport or maybe a restaurant can get your account associated with others. Using the same Internet service can do it, too.

If you go to your stable home page, check out the second section where it says "Located at". This is followed by your stable name. Click on that. This takes you to your public page--the page other people can see when they search for you using the "Search Members" feature.

In the section of that page called "Member Info" you will find a link at the bottom "View all stables owned by this member."

Clicking on that brings you to the list of your stables. At the bottom it says, "To see all stables associated with yours click here. The list may be long for AOL users."

When I do this with my account, I find three accounts listed--mine, my daughter's (who lives with me), and someone else who probably has the same Internet service we do, and so possibly has shared an IP address. This happens because most Internet services own a group of them, rotating them among the users of that service, and you get a new one every time you open your browser. Other than that, I have no idea who that person might be.

It took cheating from a constant non stop problem to an issue we never have to deal with. :) If you have a premium upgrade you don't get hit with any of those flags and can buy from anyone.
