I have set the refresh trigger for every horse in the game. That means every horse including every archived horse is going to generate a new image as soon as someone looks at it. We will with out a doubt be running a bit slow for the next day or so. It should be no worse then normal breeding season though.


Why am I doing this?: The images in this game have come a very long way over the years. The images help sell and promote the game to new players so it is important for me to show the game in the best light. Old art work does not do that so it is being removed now. In addition people are terrible about refreshing bugged images and wanting to keep them. Again this looks negatively on the game so this also clears out any backlog of bugs.

In addition the new mane and tail system requires horses to be refreshed before tack can be added. That means all horses in the game have to be refreshed before adding tack to stop errors anyways.



To make it so we never have to do this again when breeding season ends it will set all horses 10 years old and 20 years old to also refresh. Horses in the archive also will get flagged to refresh once per year. That will keep horses from going real life years with out new art and keep us from having to do every horse in the game at one time again.
