I have a mare that is 4. I didn't breed her this year but I did the egg pull option. I have been thinking about changing her to a stallion instead though as it would fit my plans better. But I am curious on what will happen to the egg if I do change her to a stud. Will the egg disappear or still be usable? Thanks

I think as long as there is only the one egg it will just change to a straw, it used to have to be less than 3 but not sure if it changed, haven't done one with an egg/straw for a while!

If you try to do it, it may say you can't change gender with the egg pulled, just try it and see!

It is coming up with the option to change her even though she has eggs. Hmm. Thanks for the info, I still haven't decided for sure if I should give it a shot.

I think you can change them with 2 eggs drawn. They will turn into straws.
