Just some quick questions, which I am sure must be answered elsewhere, but..

How much does leaving in a mare in the pasture affect the quality of the foal? Substantially? Do they need to be consecutive days, or game years? Does the time in the pasture count towards the mare's producing quality later on in game years?

Also, it takes a mare three foals to be papered... Is there a difference in the paper rank if the mare's babies show and have points?

Mares can accumulate a bonus for up to 30 days. But it's not a true bonus, it doesn't add anything to their breeding ability. As I understand it, all it does is reduce the random breeding modifier, so they are producing at the top end of their ability.

They only get 30 days though, and that bonus will disappear if you remove them from the pasture system. If you put them back into a barn, then change your mind and send them back to the pasture, they need another 30 days to get the bonus again.

Showing has no effect on papering. :D
