what exactly is AFPT?

It is available automatically to players with a Premium upgrade, I believe, and computes the average PT of all a stallion or mare's offspring that have been tested. It will not include those that have not gone through the PT test.
Any player, however, can manually compute the AFPT for any horse whose foals have been tested, by checking out the foals link on the Family tab.
