Special Rank Values?
  • How much would each of these horses be worth-

    Catch a Blue Moon mare
    Out With a Bang stallion
    White Wedding stallion
    Diamond Age mare
    Heart of the Holidays mare

    - if none are GMT-able any more?
  • I would guess 10-50k. Doing an auction is the only way to know.

  • The rank itself doesn't determine value alone, but also if there's a gene or genetic combo there that people find particularly desirable. So that's all a matter of personal opinion. One person may love roans and happily throw there money at any good horse with roan, the next may not want a single roan in their barns.

Also, what people find desirable changes constantly, what's "hot" right now won't be in a few months, what no one looks at now may be all the rage down the road.

Redbud is quite correct, doing an auction is the only way to find out what people are really willing to pay. Anyone can say "yeah, that one is worth 100k", but if no one is actually willing to pay out for it, then it really isn't. ;)
  • I'm intimidated by this question as well. It's hard to tell what people want, and what rank 5's are worth, etc... Is it against policy to take advantage of the herd helper creates and advertise age/gender/type? For instance, I have a rank 5 expectionally perfect that was shared by someone, but I don't really need another horse in my barn, but I do need money. Is it frowned upon to advertise the new create? I understand there is a time contraint with creating them...
  • You can create the horse and sell it, but you can't really offer to sell the button push. There are too many variables outside of the age/gender/type options. A very plain chestnut exceptionally perfect is worth about 5k right now, if that, but you could probably get 20k for a black one with a pattern easily. The problem lies in not knowing what you'll get until you make it.
  • Far as I remember, you are not allowed to sell a horse that is not yet created either.
