Papering?
-
What are the papering levels?
I see "Star" "Res" "Blue" "A" etc... -
Upgraded accounts are able to paper their breeding stock to have a better indication of how well those horses will perform as studs or broodmares. Many people aim to increase the quality of their stock with each generation, and papering the breeding stock is an easy way to see whether that is happening. It also allows you to alter those horses that are unlikely to be your best breeding stock so that they can be slightly better show horses and make more money in the long run.
Stallions are papered, from lowest to highest: Showable Only, C, B, A, *Star
A standard foundation create will generally paper C, and an exceptional will paper B. Stallions can be papered as soon as they are created or bred.
Mares are papered, from lowest to highest: Failed, Yellow, Red, Blue, *Gold
A foundation mare will generally paper Yellow or Red, and an exceptional will often paper Red or Blue. Mare papering is dependent on the quality of her foals - to be papered, a mare must have three foals.Post edited by Helia at 2016-08-24 20:44:53
