Really a liver?

I've been pondering over this mare for a while, ever since I found I could enter her in the liver club, but I've only just gene tested her now. It says she's a palomino, not chocolate palomino and she has only one copy of sooty and I don't think either of her parents have DP (though I can't be certain about her mother.) Is she really liver then or is this a glitch?

It's possible that her dam is carrying DP. Since she's homozygous non-sooty, she could be carrying either heterozygous or homozygous DP, and it wouldn't show up in her color name since it's only red-based colors that have a special name for horses carrying 3 or 4 of the coat-darkening genes. You wouldn't see any effect of DP on the dam, anyway, since she's homozygous Cream and that wipes out any darkening effect there might be.
Only Ammit can determine what hidden genes, if any, are present.
