Top Producers

If you breed two top rate producers, will the foal be the same era as the parents, or go back one? And is that a great advantage? Thanks! :)

I think that the horses you are speaking of are foundations with 100% breeding ability, the same as Perfect Foundations. There should be no era penalty for them or their offspring.
Exceptional Producers and Exceptionally Perfect foundations have their eras regressed by one, however. Currently they will be placed in Era 5. However, their offspring would still be in Era 5, unless they are given a breeding boost.
There is some advantage to horses that are in the current era, but it occurs only in the Era 6 Breeders Club, where all the horses entered are Era 6, which, being the most recent, has fewer horses belonging to it than the older Eras, where horses created in those Eras AND their offpsring are to be found. On the color/pattern Breeders Clubs Leaderboards, horses of all eras are competing together. -
Foals always have the same era as the lowest era parent.Need to contact me? Read this first.
