im wondering if my filly homozygous or heterozygous for the nexus? her daddy and granddaddy are nexus but i don't know much on them.

She's heterozygous, and you can tell two ways. First, the star pattern on her coat is a heterozygous feature. If she were homozygous, her coat would be much wilder, like an actual glimpse of space. Second, she would only be able to be homozygous if her dam had a nexus gene, which she does not.

Homozygous nexus lists ERROR: UNKNOWN ANOMALY as the color name and on a dark base color would be light blue like this one:
