Embryos?
-
If you create an embryo from a mare, will she still be breedable that season? And if you bred the mare already, can you create an embryo from her? I can't pull eggs, so I would have to use the other method of embryo creation. Thanks!

If you do the embryo first then yes she can be live covered or bred with a straw that season. If you breed her first (either live cover or using a straw) then she can't be bred anymore via embryo. So if you want to breed your mare twice make sure you create an embryo first and live cover/straw breed her last!HJ1 160524

I think if you 'Create an Embryo' with the first option, by impregnating a mare using a straw then no she won't be breedable after that. But if you do as MS said and pull the egg first, and then create the embryo you can keep doing so. Also even the mare is already bred, but you already have that egg saved/frozen from her, then yes you can make the embryo

Well as a basic upgraded member I can't do eggs so I can't create an embryo with eggs. But if you make the embryo with a straw ('the first option') the mare still can be bred after that. So making an embryo (whether with straws directly on the mare or with an egg) will always result in your mare being able to breed that year.
Only if you live cover a mare or use the 'use a straw' option in the adv. breeding lab then she will be bred for the year and can't make any more foals that year.HJ1 160524
