Interesting year in my pastures
-
Well, this month of the year so far.
I got 79 fillies; SMA neutered 22 of them.
I got 107 colts; GA neutered 1. Of course by the time I am done with papering and comparison testing, not to mention consistency, the intact colts will doubtless be much fewer. But in case anyone was wondering, SMA is certainly STRICT.Post edited by SandyCreekAcres at 2016-12-06 08:31:29Thanked by 1Kintara -
Nice I wish that I could do sma. I think that would help with my 2g stud Pearlotta.

I LOVE how strict sma has become! I'm finally able to exercise a little control over my mare hording problem.Specializing high quality dark horses with lots of chrome.

I have to agree, High Five, it does help a lot. It was the wide difference between this years GA and SMA results that struck me. However, as I expected, Stallion Papering and Comparison Testing are adequately helping to prune the boys, so all should be well.

Awesome.
