A Couple Questions
-
1. I just bred a cute little filly with loads of white markings, and the mare x stallion notice above her picture said "•Kit Mutation Load Is: 81." What does that mean?
2. Are we still allowed to un-spay/geld foals we bred? (with GMT tokens, I mean) Thank you!Post edited by urkidnme at 2016-12-20 00:21:46 -
1. This is a very new thing that Ammit has done with the Kit mutations. The chance for a dead foal with certain crossings (and those crossings have changed from what they were) is now weighted by the white factor of the parents. The higher the white factor, the greater the chance of a dead foal. Kit Load indicates how close the horse is to 100, the point when a foal will perish.
You can find more specific information and a chart of lethal results in this post. http://www.huntandjump.com/forum/discussion/16695/lethal-kit-combinations-have-been-drasticly-updated#Item_5
2. I am not seeing that option in the lab. -
2- unalter horses has it's own tab in the sidebar menu where you can do that.Go boldly, where no App has gone before!

Thanks, Kat. I'd forgotten that. Neutered horses can't be GMT'd, except for this--they don't appear on the drop-down list, so I wasn't surprised not to find the option in the lab.

No problem, I haven't visited it much or used it myself. But today I did scroll through the list that came up, and it appears there is no age limit for unaltering your home bred horses. Which was my main question as of late lol. Not that that is a good thing, because you obviously couldn't change the fate of a horse if it's unaltered too late to also be boosted or GMTd to the opposite gender or anything. It is a handy feature though, for those instances where a huge mistake is made by the clicky finger ;)Go boldly, where no App has gone before!Thanked by 1Sunshine
