Possibly. But they could be gelded or spayed as soon as the new owners run the testing themselves, which would probably be an annoyance. The testing is free, there really is no reason to not test your horses, and it's common practice to do so. If they end up not selling, for your reasonable prices, there are always other ways to generate income from them. Keeping showing horses who steadily gain points is the only sure way to make an income in the game, but if you find yourself in a bind, you could send horses to auction, or sell them back to the game.

And always remember to train and show every horse, every week. Even if you don't plan to keep them long term, a showing record with accumulated points is always helpful ;)
