For those of you that snip mares based on papering, would you personally snip any 3rd gen mare that papers Red? Or would you be lenient? Just trying to make my lines better quality :)

I expect Gold by 3rd generation. I only let a few slide this time around. I mainly use boosted foundations though, but they should for sure be blue no matter what by 3rd generation.

Most of my lines are regular create so by third gen I expect blue. I'm not sure about Gold yet I did a massive purge a few months ago and I'm not that far yet.

Yeh if it's a new line I will keep a few high reds until I have enough blues, their average foal PT for gen3 though has to be getting close to 11, so at worst 10.7 and up. Not sure with the new papering as they get the paper before their foals now!
