Discussion Questions
-
What is the best way to get a discussion noticed? I have a discussion posted in Horses for Sale and Auction and I wanted to know if there was a trick to getting people to see it.
Thanks!! -
Do you mean your sales post from back in December?
There's not really any kind of trick to posting, no. About all you can do is be specific in the title of the post, which you were. If people are looking for whatever you're selling, they'll have a look. If they're interested in buying, they'll buy, or make a comment and/or counteroffer, or what have you.Thanked by 1Phoenix Wings -
Okay thanks

How do you know what level you are on?
-
What exactly are you referring to by "level?"
Players can have a free account, an account with a Basic Upgrade, or an Account with a Premium Upgrade. Each upgrade adds its own collection of features. The Basic Upgrade can be purchased with real money or with game money. The Premium Upgrade has a monthly subscription fee of $7.50. You will need a PayPal account for this.
For every 200 horses you breed or create, you will get an extra stall in your primary barn. There used to be levels associated with this, but I believe Ammit has said that this is no longer part of the game.
Horses work their way up through a variety of showing levels as they are trained.Thanked by 1Phoenix Wings -
I have a free account. I don't test horses for anything but geld/spay and color. I don't know anything about levels.

Here's a description of the showing levels.
There are eight showing levels. Each of them involves an increasingly higher skill development for both horse and rider. As a horse is trained a certain amount is added to it's show score. This increased score reflects an increasing ability in jumping. Every level has 4 grades--Local, Regional, National, World. In real-life, the best horses from larger and larger areas would be competing in the various grades, expanding from a small local region up to shows that have horses from many countries competing.
Level 1-Inhand. Horses shown on a lead line, not yet being ridden.
Level 2--Green Under Saddle. Horses shown on the flat at a walk, trot, and canter.
Level 3--Green Over Fences. Horses shown over fairly low jumps in a fairly simple layout.
Level 4--Training. Horses are being trained to clear more complex jumps and patterns.
Level 5--C Level. Higher and/or wider jumps and more complex courses.
Level 6--B Level. Again, higher/wider jumps and more complex courses.
Level 7--A Level. Once again the difficulty and complexity of the course increases.
Level 8--Grand Prix. The hardest courses of all.Thanked by 1Phoenix Wings -
What is the difference between grades and levels? So if a horse's level is 4 training and the grade is world, what does that mean?
-
Levels indicate the stage of training a horse has reached--shown at halter, able to be ridden at walk trot and canter, starting to jump, then increasing skill at jumping.
Grades indicate the quality of the competition at those training abilities. Local shows cover a relatively small region. Regional shows gather the best from the local shows over a larger area. National shows gather the best horses from a whole country. World shows will have competitors from many countries.
Every level has shows in all 4 grades.
So a horse a Level 4 World, would be competing against horses that have achieved more than beginning jumping skills from more than one country.Thanked by 1Phoenix Wings
