I have a mare who has been in the pasture for some time. She had her third foal this year, and papered Yellow.

I find this record quite amazing.

I find it quite normal for non exceptional foundations to paper yellow, and be no worse than their red papered friends. I don't usually paper foundations but did as an experiment once with a heap of perfect foundations. Some were red and some were yellow, and yes had an A colt from one of the yellow ones!

If you average her foal PT scores she is under 10 which may have pushed her to yellow
