Check public listings too, often there are very good lined stallions available to the public for 1000hb LC :)
(Just check there isn't inbreeding, that all animals are papered and that there is increase in papering if possible. Those are the things I check for ^.^)

On the contrary, I'd recommend trying him because he comes from well bred blue lines, but he is untested: http://www.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=4691052

This would be the perfect example, though he's really expensive. He comes from increasing papered lines (blue -> gold dam) and he averages around 12.5pt, so there is an increase from his PT to his offspring:

I would be happy to sell you one of my long pedigree stallions, since I have way more than I need, they have AFPTs in the low 13s (or compare as good as stallions of that quality if they are unbred). Please PM me if you are interested.
