Here in H&J1, breeding seasons are every other real life month and run through the 27th day of the month. January, March, May, July, September and November are the beginnings of the game years. Administrators, etc., can begin breeding on the first of the month to work out any possible bugs. Upgraded members are assigned starting times on the second. Everyone else starts on the third.

Currently, pasture breeding has been continued through this non-breeding month of October. Ammit will be making a decision about whether to make this an ongoing thing. Ordinarily, pastured horses are bred automatically somewhere around the 14th of the normal breeding season, with a manual pasture breeding trigger that allows players to breed all the horses in all their pastures with a single click of a button at any time before the automatic breeding takes place. Once this is done, the pasture horses cannot be bred again until the next game year, unless you add new, breedable, open mares.
