I bred 2 GP horses together but the foal does not have GP, how did that happen?

I breed APP Norwegian Blue, a Gulastra Plume, to APP Silence Dogood, a Gulastra Plume, but the resulting foal does not have Gulastra Plume. How is this possible if both parents are homozygous for it? Is it because the foal is a Classic Champagne Dun with Ee aa?

Yes, if both parents are homozygous for it, the foal is as well, but it won't show unless the foal is E_A_.HJ1: 83716 / HJ2: 120

So she still carries it, she just doesn't show it, Thank you for the quick response. I am enjoying learning the way it works
