I would Love to have a thunderstruck horse, but I can't afford that. :-(( I wish I had one but I know that nobody would but one and sell it for the little bit that I have.

You could get the new tack pack and you will receive a hide thing similar, but not the gene. Close enough and works for me.

What @/BlueJay said would probably work the best unless you get lucky and find one hiding away in the Auction house (they might show up there occasionally if they can be sold, i'm not sure)

Only neutered ones can be sold in the auction to anyone. Intact horses can only be sold to or used for breeding by players who have bought it directly from Ammit.

Yep just put your least favourite horse up for sale for 12500, that's how much you need for the new tack pack, which means you can put the Power on any horse you own!
