Question about emails
  • Is it normal to get emails that are meant for other people? On my Gmail ikeep getting emails that say different people sent me messages but they are meant for other people. This is making it hard for me to see if I have been sent any messages before I get on the game.

Do you know how I can get rid of the email that is sending me the spam list? Is it doing this to just me or everybody that I keep getting the messages for? This has been going on for almost since I joined this server.

    This is what the email looks like. Just an example of the name of the member.
    But when you click on the link it goes to page that says forbidden. They say the messages are coming from all different members on this server.

  • Hmm yes that convo was definitely not for you. I am also going to edit out your email address for your personal privacy.

    I found a forum account for your user ShebaArab that had no user name. I would guess that was causing the issue somehow. About 1 in every 10,000 created accounts on the forum and up with no account name. I have yet to figure out the exact reasoning for it but it does cause some strange behavior.

  • ShebaArab suddenly showed up as a receipt in older conversations of mine today, like my SS name sent to me by the organizers

  • Vanilla forum may be better for direct website integration but MAN was the old forum a much better and more polished product. >:(
