Are you saying every single forum PM you get duplicates or just you are seeing a 2 icon and not finding a message?

I'm sorry. My original post was mistaken.

It is the posts that have been made to my Hajiversary/Birthday Party thread that are being flagged twice, not inbox messages. I must not have been fully awake when I made my post this morning.

Looking back over the record, I think every time someone posted to that thread, starting on Jan. 15, it was recorded twice on the profile page where inbox messages and posts to bookmarked discussions are gathered.

The first notice states "(player name) commented on your bookmarked discussion."

The second notice states "(player name) commented on your discussion.

Looking farther back in the record, I'm seeing that this has been happening when people comment on discussions that I started and also have bookmarked. It is noticeable for the Elf Emporium threads I had going for Secret Santa shopping.

I would say that the programming alerts for all posts to a discussion that a player starts, and also for all posts that have been bookmarked, and when both things have happened--I start a post and bookmark it--both parts of the program do their job of notification.

So definitely, it is user confusion rather than programming error in these cases.
