I had this filly pop up in my pasture crop this morning: http://www.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=6347829

She's 3rd generation. Both of her grandsires are A-papered foundations. Both her dam and sire were pasture-bred. Her dam is blue papered and has been in the pasture far longer than is necessary to have accumulated her full 30 day bonus. She went through Strict Breeding Inspection and passed.

And she's red papered. Backwards progression, not forward.

Now I imagine that just means she's at the absolute lowest possible breeding ability that match is capable of producing and SBI will accept, but I think she's a fantastic example of how wide the range of possible breeding really is. If she'd gone the other way, high instead of low, she might've been *Gold.

And now she's a show horse. :)
