I have to take a closer look at how much ice 2 was shared before making any calls on it. It was sold a please do not share status so I need to take a look at what was done before making any calls.

I may be wrong, but its my understanding that this is for closed genes only (the ones that are listed in orange on a horses genetic testing). Nexus isnt closed which is why it isnt on the list. :) So I do not think this will impact you, at least not for that gene.

Mine are correct. I don't have Ice 2 in my barns, so that's not a concern for me.

I traced back each line from where it came from. (It's clear who was a little too share happy lol.) Going to give everyone on this list a license but glad we are closing the doors now. I think spreading is in the wind now and we are shutting the door just in time. :D

@Kristin I won't be adding anyone to the chats. A soon as the new gene licenses are up you will be able to request a chat room addition.

At this point if you have a closed gene you are not supposed to nothing happens to the horse. They just become impossible to breed. Much cleaner and friendlier solution.

Ammit puts closed genes on sale for real money from time to time. Sometimes she introduces new ones, sometimes she has a limited sale on ones released earlier. During the sale of a closed gene, anyone can purchase the gene and have it put on a particular foundation horse that is younger than 5 and has no living foals. All those who purchase the gene have the right to breed for it. Neutered horses can be sold to anyone.
