So I was one of the lucky few who had one of the original satin foundation horses, way back in the day. And by way back, I mean the create date on my foundation stallion is May 23, 2011. He aged out of the game a long time ago as well, but of course I saved some straws. Every season I use one or two of them, and don't usually end up with anything very notable: the last intact foal I kept is a mare who is 8 years old now.
A few game years ago I started another tiny side project, and since I had a few eggs left from the foundation mare for that line decided I'd cross them out on my original satin guy. I got four B-papered colts in a row and since I was only planning to keep an A sent them onto the game buyer almost as soon as they were tested. In doing so I realized, about 15 seconds after I hit the 'sell' button, that one of them was brindle.
But lightning struck twice, and the all-seeing Ammit is faster than the game's cleaning cycle. And she rescued him for me!
Here's my new little brindle baby, all polished up:
Thank you, Ammit!Thanked by 1Lallyhop -
