    At what age do you cull mares that have no foals worth keeping, either as breeding stock or show horses?

    I just found a 6yo blue papered 3rd gen mare with no foals, but she does meet my color criteria. If she hadn't met my color criteria, I would have culled her without a second thought.

    So second opinions, anyone?

    That’s only 3 foals, I tend to give till 8 at least, usually sane for working out AFPT and whether I’ll cull or not.
