Basic membership questions
-
I just spent 30iv to be a basic member but nothing seems different. How do I enter all my horses in shows?
-
If you log out using the link at the bottom of the left menu and then log back in again, you will activate the Basic Upgrade features.
Once you've done that, I believe you will be able to enter all the horses in any barn using the Enter This Barn button near the bottom of the page.
You will no longer need to train your horses weekly. (A common question from new Basic Upgrade holders is "Why can't I train my horses?" :) )Post edited by SandyCreekAcres at 2018-08-15 06:17:34 -
You can also set your barns to automatically enter the horses in it twice a week on days of your choosing. Go to Auto Show Settings under Showing on the left hand side of the page. For each barn you have (but not your primary barn) you can pick the days of the week you want the horses to show and then pick 'yes' to turn on auto showing for that barn.

Great thanks! What does the breeding inspection mean? What do the color and letter mean?
-
I think Auto Show (setting the day a barn is shown) is a Premium Upgrade feature.
Breeding Inspection is papering mares and stallions--a relatively broad classification of breeding ability.
For stallions the breeding papers are:
Showable Only
C (normal create level)
B
A
*Star
For mares the breeding papers are:
Failed
Yellow (normal create)
Red
Blue
*Gold
It is better not to breed horses that test Showable Only or Failed.
C and Yellow are equivalent papers, so are B and Red, A and Blue, *Star and *Gold. However, there is a range of abilities within those paper levels, so not all reds are the same quality, and not all B's have exactly the same breeding ability percentage, for example.Post edited by SandyCreekAcres at 2018-08-15 11:31:30Thanked by 1ConfluenceStable -
