Any horse consistently being trained, shown and placing above last place will be a better show horse.

PT tells you how long the horse will train for before leveling off (roughly around the time it’s age reaches its PT score) but there are tons of low PT horses rocking the show pen and tons of High PT horses tanking in the ring.

Although the high PT horses usually eventually gain more points than a lower PT horse since they reach higher levels with bigger point payouts

It will take a while for them to come into their own and really start earning points. Unless your account is under 20,000 points and they are being created with points.

If you are looking to increase your daily bonus check out the Auctions. Use the search to search them by total points. Start at the top and place a minimum bid (2600) on as many as you can. If they are older you can always dump them back into the auction on the last Sunday of the month and they only need 32 points to earn back the extra 100 hbs you spent buying them st auction.

I found that worked the best to increase my bonus during Ammits contest on hj2.
