Does this boy have snowflake? He has nexus, so it's hard to tell.

His dam has one copy of SF from her sire

If a horse is eligible to join the Snowflake App Breeders' Club then it is homozygous for the gene - there is no easy way to tell if a horse is heterozygous.

If a horse has a fantasy gene, then he isn't eligible for the Snowflake breeder's club. That's the issue. He can only be registered in the Fantasy club. That's why I had to ask if he had snowflake since he also has a Nexus gene.

Sorry, my fault. I don't have Nexus myself so I only took on board the Snowflake aspect. You are, of course, quite right.

No worries. Not everyone is aware of the restrictions that breeder clubs can have, since not everyone breeds for fantasy genes.
