If he were mine, and I wanted to offer him for breeding, I'd probably price him at 1 hb. Why so low? He's unevenly bred, which is why he only papered B, I expect. None of his genetics are particularly rare or in demand, even Ice 1. At most, I might ask 250 hbs, but would not be surprised if no one took me up on the offer. He does have an average foal PT of 10.3, which is reasonable for an exceptional foundation that is not exceptionally perfect.
When my stable was smaller and I was offering stallions for public stud, regular foundations I gave a 1 hb stud fee. Exceptional foundations and higher generations I priced at 250 hbs. However, I was not expecting to make a large addition to my income with stud fees, even though we didn't have the showing bonus at that time, so you don't have to take my advice.Post edited by SandyCreekAcres at 2018-09-16 19:44:51Thanked by 1Kintara
