ExPerf vs. Ex Show?
-
When building up your show barn, which is better? Does Exceptionally Perfect include all the exceptionalism of Exceptional Show horses, or does their picking a specification allow them to be *more* exceptional in that one respect than the ones who are exceptionally perfect all around?ID #238663, she/her pronouns

An Exceptionally Perfect horse has 104% breeding ability and will paper B or Red as opposed to C or Yellow for ordinary creates. It will also have a PT score of 10.4 as opposed to the 9.9 or lower of ordinary creates. In addition it will score exactly the same thing both times it is shown in a week, or be perfectly consistent.
Exceptional Show horses will have PT scores ranging from 10 to 10.4. They may or may not be perfectly consistent and have varying breeding abilities. The best breeders among them will paper C or Yellow, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they will have the 100% breeding ability of Perfect Foundations. Some of them may even paper Showable Only or Failed. I generally neuter all Exceptional Show horses so that they will get the training advantage that comes to neutered horses.
Exceptionally Perfect horses, since they are such good breeding stock are better left intact and used for both breeding and showing.Thanked by 1ChateauAlbere
