Shouldn't this Horse be Rainbow

So I was going through my foals for this year and came across this guy http://www.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=7181505. He has two copies of Ice 2, so shouldn't he be rainbow colored or does it have to be mixed with any other Ice gene to be rainbow. I cant seem to remember or find out any info on the forum about it.

Oh I didn't realise either that ice2 didn't do the colourful aurora with another ice2!
