    What is the differance between {Kit w20 Kit w20} and {Kit w20 Kit}? Is the effect different on that horse or does that just mean that the second example is less likely to pass the w20 to thir foals? Also is the effect different on a horse with {Kitw20Kit} as apposed to {KitKitw20}? Sorry for the n00b question, the genetics section tells me what it is but not really how it works.

    Pretty sure (but could be wrong) w20 boosts the amount white a horse shows.

    Kitw20Kit is the same as KitKitw20. The first kit comes from the sires genetics the second from the dam.

    A w20w20 horse will pass on the w20 100% of the time. Whereas the w20- horse will only have a 50% chance of passing it on with each breeding.

    I think that homozygous W20 may have a greater effect than heterozygous, but I haven't been keeping an eye on it closely enough to be certain.
