Need to tell people before I burst lol. But no pictures at this stage sorry.
We sold our horse float as no more horses :( But with the money from that and using my partners disability pay we have just signed up to purchase a caravan!. It sleeps 4 with a permanent double bed and a sofa that converts to a double bed. Has solar power with a big battery, gas and hooks into the mains power at camp grounds. Is a 1980 model and has a shower with an area to put a portable potti. The hot water is gas operated and the fridge is a 3 way (so can work on gas, 12v or 24v)
Going to have it in time for the easter holidays so will get to use it then. Mum as agreed to make us some new curtains as the old ones aren't that flash.
We had been going to sell our big Ford Explorer and get a low gas useage car but now keeping to tow the caravan. Will be very useful in summer we will be able to pack up and leave on a friday afternoon and spend weekends at the beach! -

I know I almost didn't post as no pictures but couldn't contain myself any longer. Money will be tight still for a bit but this is being paid by the sale of the float and via Colin's income so doesn't change what I have available for the bills. (Wish could sell a few more things though ;)
Will post pictures as soon as I get them. At this stage pickup is the 28th March. -

Yep the plan is to be able to spend weekends at the beach and then take a longer holiday once a year plus there are holiday weekends etc etc lol
Will need to get an awning for it though before next summer. This is a bit expensive but will keep an eye out for some secondhand ones that can be altered. -
Even if you have to stitch it up a bit, I'm sure you can find a second hand one. You will have to get pictures and hopefully share, especially at the beach.
