    So I have never used the pasture breeding before, I am just wondering if its safe to leave mares / stallions in there for longer then 30 days? Do they get sold back to the game after a certain amount of time or is that just for foals?

    Also, how often has people had good luck with getting better papered foals the longer they keep the mares in the pasture for?

    They don't get sold that is just the mares and I have actually had a really nice foal crop everytime I left mares in pasture for 30 days. Just be sure to keep in mind pastures breed on the 14th of every month so if you don't want your mares to breed be sure to take the stud out as they don't get pasture bonus just the mares

    My mares live in the pastures all the time, I definitely get better foals if they have the full 30 day bonus

    Mares get a 5 percent breeding bonus after being in for the 30 days month. Unless they are specials and i am polling eggs all.my mares stay in pasture

    I don't believe Ammit has released a specific number regarding the pasture bonus re: 5%. Whatever the bonus is, it reaches it's peak at 30 days time in pasture, and is reset whenever a mare is removed from pasture.

    As a big barn, it has always made the most sense to me to use pastures as not only are they the cheapest option, but they tend to offer better odds of intact foals when the pasture bonus is utilized to it's full potential. Take into consideration that that still means a fair portion of foals will not pass SBA, but the foals you do get, trend towards the higher end of their parents' producing potential, increasing odds of superior foals.
