How to get money?!?
-
Hello people! How do I earn money??
Thank you :)
-
The best way to earn money is by regulary showing your horses. They will accumulate points, and the more points you have the bigger your weekly pay will be! When they end in the top half of the show you'll earn a little amount of money too.
Ofcourse you can also put your stallions and mares up for public breeding and make some money that way as well.
And having your friends join the game by the link you posted will also make you some money.
Ofcourse you can always buy an infusion with real money, that will make Ammit happy! ;)HJ1 160524

Thank you master stables! I see that I can only breed from my mares once a year? Can I Bree from my stallions whenever? If so could you send me a link to how to put my stallion up for public breeding! This is all new to me :( x

You're welcome! You can only breed with any horse when it is breeding season. As Lake ondawa farm said in this (http://www.huntandjump.com/forum/discussion/3239/breeding-the-horses-question#Item_2) thread: "Mares can only have 1 foal each game year, which lasts 2 months. The regular breeding seasons take place from the 1st to the 27th of the first month of each game year. We are currently having a special late season extension of breeding. The normal breeding seasons for HJ1 are January, March, May, July, September, and November. Breeding starts on the 1st for the administrators to be sure there are no bugs, on the 2nd for upgraded members and on the 3rd for everyone else."
Stallions can have a maximum of 50 live covers a year (that is public breeding), a mare can only have one foal a year. Though you can get more foals a year with straws and eggs.
I recommend reading all those topics in here to get you started: http://www.kinetocoredesign.com/forumdisplay.php?41-Member-Written-Guides. They are full of all the information needed to get a basic understanding of this sometimes comlpex but very fun game! Some things have changed a bit over time but the basics are the same. For more information about breeding read the breeding 101: http://www.kinetocoredesign.com/showthread.php?37361-Breeding-Season-101 More info about straws and eggs is in here as well! :)
You can put your mares or stallions up for public breeding when you go to their personal page. You'll see a few tabs at the top: Horse Info (basic info), Family (pedigree and foals), Records (won prizes, show records and sale history) and the last tab Control Panel. Click on this last tab. You'll see a few options, like changing the horse's name, selling it and a 'set breeding fee' button. Above this button you can set the breeding fee, the price that somebody must pay if they want to breed with your horse. You can type in any number you want, but if you want to make money don't make it too expensive! Everybody tends to run low on money when it is breeding season :p After you filled in the price you click the 'set breeding fee' button and then your horse is up for public breeding! :)
If you have any more questions don't be afraid to ask them! :)

Thank you! Although I don't think any of mine are "amazing" colours :( thank you so much though! X

That doesn't matter, people have various reasons to use public horses, and one of them is using them for ET (embryo transfer). That means the mare won't get a foal from herself but is used as a surrogate to carry the embryo. There are no fancy colours needed since the mare that is used for ET won't pass on her genes!
