I have been thinking for a while about sharing some of the horses from my high PT line to help pay forward the help I got when I was a new member. I figured that now was a good time before all the holiday festivities get going.

The first 5 new members (people who started playing after September 10, 2014) will each receive a 3 year old *star papered stallion who compares about as good as a stallion with an average foal PT of 12.66 and 4 *gold papered mares ranging in age from 8 to 12 who also have average foal PTs in the mid to upper 12's. In addition to their breeding potential, each herd will immediately add about 1720-1750 points toward your weekly showing bonus.

Before you post for one of these herds, please be sure you have 5 stalls available, and 2500hb to purchase them (since the minimum sale price the game allows is 500hb). Also I would ask that you only request one of these herds if you intend to keep and use them. They are intended as a long term investment, not a source of quick sale money.

You may choose which herd you would like on a first come first served basis. Please request your horses by the herd number, no swapping of mares between herds.

This is really awesome of you to do! I've gone a bit crazy myself... trying to hunt down some of the star and gold rated horses to start off my game the best I can.

You don't count as a hoarder of pixel ponies until you have over 2,000. I've known players with enormous stables that included over 15,000! @-)

Kat8805, I checked your start date and there is no doubt that you qualify as a new member, so you absolutely may have herd 3. I didn't place any restrictions about not already having gold mares or star stallions. If you had already been buying such horses, I can be sure that you will appreciate the gift.

The horses of herd 3 are up for you on buddy sale. I hope they provide you with many great foals in the seasons to come.

About being a pixel hoader, I agree with SandyCreek. My own stable has over 6800 horses (the last time I checked, I think I was around 4600), which of course, is part of the reason I can afford to do this give away. If your husband complains too much just point out how much cheaper it is to hoard pixel ponies compared with real ones.

Oh he already knows. My pixel addiction is nursing the loss of my last horse. Well, not loss, sale, but still like losing a part of me. I figure I've got another 20x 100k hb infusions this month alone before we even touch the tip of that ice berg :))

Just click on each horse. :) You'll notice that their page will say somthing like 'placed up for sale for buddies of the owner' above the price.

Thanks! I haven't mentioned it yet, but I've got 2 little girls, the youngest will be 8 months on the 28th, and they ate all my brain cells 8-}

New members, don't be shy. There are still 4 herds left. Even if you are more interested in starting your own line from foundations, having a few gold mares in your barn producing high PT show horses will help provide the income to support your stable.

Carelynn, you are definitely new enough. I set the cutoff point for September 10. Do you have a preference for which herd of horses you would like? The only one that has been claimed is #3.

RioGrande, once Carelynn lets me know which herd she wants, I'll put herds up for both of you.

Equine, yes, of course you are new enough. Anyone who joined after September 10th is new enough. Do you have a preference for which herd you want? If you do want a specific herd, I'll put it up for you now. If you don't care, I'll pick one for you after I hear back from Carelynn about her choice. (First person to choose a herd gets it, but Carelynn posted first without indicating if she has a preference or not, so if she does I want to give her the chance to pick before assigning herds to people who don't care which they get.)

Equine, herd 1 is available for you. If you click on the link to each horse, it should have a button to buy the horse at the bottom of the Horse Info page. I hope that they do well for you.
