Eggs and breeding
-
I an guessing this is no but figured i would double check can you pull an egg on a horse you have not finished breeding if you hold off on using it till after your done gmting m. Have a few mares i an finishing up and just wondering.
-
I believe you can only have one egg stored.
-
But if you pull egg and have not used it and have not bred can you still gmt?Post edited by FLS Equine Cente at 2019-01-09 09:06:10

The option to alter one of my mares still showed up after I pulled an egg from her but hadn’t bred.
I took that to assume that it’s possible, but I don’t know for sure. -
That would not play into gmting.... any horse can be spayed or gelded regardless of age or babys... i had a mare that i needed to more gmts on cause i put paid genes on her instead if another of age she is six instead of could not get mess up fixed..

I’m sorry, I meant change the genes not alter as in held or spay. I should been more clear. :)

You can GMT untill you have actually used the eggs (I have GMTd a mare I have had 60+ eggs saved from), but you can only change the gender of the horse if you have 1 or no eggs/straws saved.ID 195859Thanked by 1Kintara
