If a seller has a bunch of horses for sale( different genes including some closed foundation genes, which a buyer has licence for). Then when the people list the horses they would like under there name like usual.Including a couple that have closed genes and 1 foundation closed gene. A few days go buy then the seller messages you to say only certain horses are available. But you go to check the horses out and see that they have been sold to someone else after the day you have spoken for them. Only to be told that they were sold through messaging for more. No asking to beat price and saying were sold before. But the records of the horse show different.
Is this the way the game is played or should the other interested parties have the chance to offer a higher amount? There ad said to make offers.
Sorry to sound picky but this has happened alot of times.

I’m sorry that happened to you. :/ I would give both parties a chance to counter-offer, especially the person who showed interest first.

It’s nice to make hb’s, but there’s a respectful and honest way of making sales in my opinion.

Are you talking about an auction on the forum? or in a chat room?

From the User guide: All bids MUST be publicly listed in the forum auction thread; taking private bids via private message is prohibited.

It wasn't an auction for the horses just a listing. But was told that she didn't check the thread only her messages. You would think if you have horses listed and you get a message from someone wanting to purchase a horse, you would check to see the thread also. But maybe that is just me.

Hmm, my two cents is this:

If the thread said to specifically message her about horses that someone would be interested in, that's one thing.

If the thread did not say to message said person, I would think that said person would check the thread post that he/she created. So that's entirely a different matter.

It's mainly a respect thing. At least, how I see it.
