S+ stands for Sooty +. It is a more aggressive form of darkening than ordinary Ssty, and often causes dapples.

Here's an S+S bay. If you look closely you can see the dapples.

It is dominant, and fairly rare. It costs 20 GMT tokens per copy in the GMT Lab.
