So I just came across two new colors that can be added to tack and both I absolutely adore! Problem is, where does everybody get these colors? Now looking at it I can see that it says "suggested colors". There's more than what is showing? Have I really been missing out cause that saddens me as tacking up all my horses differently and in a range of colors is a must. I know I just recently discovered jet black tack which I'm over the moon with. Now it's bright lime green and a hot pink or magenta color. What else is there?! I would really like to know!

The number of possible colors is 16,777,216 ;)

If you click the underlined link at the top of the tack page "If desired add up to 3 hex colors. . ." it will take you to a color picker page with HTML color codes.

I have a set of Riding Horses that I tacked up for a special contest by importing their images into an online color picker (don't ask me which one) and selecting the major color in each one's plaid for the saddle and bridle and one of the lesser colors for the saddle pad. Here's one of them.

Absolutely be sure to click that link and play with colors! I love to match up tack with the backgrounds too. You can really go wild with color combos, and almost all tack can at least be one color if not all three. Experiment! Lots! I've spent hours refining my looks. :D

For my vast herd, each line has a 'theme' for mares and studs. Most of them I've added onto geld/spays that I rename as "0Tack LineName" so they are easy to copy from.
