No there is no way to remove them from your associate account list. I have multiple associate accounts, and when we want to sell each other straws, eggs, or horses we have to finde a go between player (which isn't hard).

I believe the reason they are on your associate account list is because they used to, or do use the same IP address. Example me and my best friend in RL, both play hunt and jump in the local coffee shop so we are associate accounts, because we use the same address.

It could also be that any one of our several thousand members lives in the same general area, or passed through on a trip, or simply uses the same cell service.
